I want to participate

What is Anaphylaxis?

Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction to venom, food, or medication. Most cases are caused by a bee sting or eating foods that are known to cause allergies, such as peanuts or tree nuts. Anaphylaxis causes a series of symptoms, including a rash, low pulse, and shock, which is known as anaphylactic shock.

What is Chronic Urticaria?

Chronic Urticaria is defined as hives lasting for more than 6 weeks almost daily. In most cases there is no known trigger associated with the development of hives. However, in some cases physical factors such as cold, heat or sunlight may induce hives. It is also thought that autoimmunity (when our immune system attacks our own cells) may contribute to the development of hives. In addition, it is unclear how long will the hives persist.
